Our Approach
Our Quest Catering teams are all trained to the highest standards to ensure that we are providing our pupils with the fresh, nutritional and well balanced meals within our schools.
Our menus follow the government food standards, and we believe these meals provide the pupils with the energy they need to be alert in class and enjoy an active lifestyle.
Our easy-to-use online payment system allows parents the flexibility of pre-ordering from home or giving your child the independence to make their own choice at school. This system is linked up with the on-site kitchens’ live food data to ensure all allergy information is available within the school and at home.

Meet HGCP's School Cook

Hello I am Carole, The School Cook here at Hindley Green Community Primary School, part of QUEST Catering.
I have worked in school catering for over 44 years, 21 years of which have been here at HGCP. I am responsible for maintaining the highest standards of food quality and service within my kitchen.
Throughout my career, I have gained many skills including menu planning, food preparation, and nutrition, and my team and I ensure all of our school lunches are very tasty too, because of all the lovely feedback my team receives from both pupils and staff.
I take pride in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen. I have a keen eye for detail and am meticulous in ensuring that all food preparation and storage areas meet health and safety regulations, along with necessary allergen information.
I am proud to be the School Cook here at Hindley Green Community Primary School and our QUEST Catering Team. We also enjoy bringing fun to our school lunches by introducing the bespoke theme days and bringing them to life!
My team and I are proud of always going above and beyond in making our school lunches enjoyable.
